Meghan Edwards, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA, LBS1, spent more than a decade as a special education teacher before becoming a board-certified behavior analyst working inside K-12 schools. That firsthand experience showed her how much clinical ABA training leaves out when it comes to the realities of school buildings, including limited support, competing priorities, and staff who need practical, not theoretical, guidance.

She started sharing what she learned on Instagram, where thousands of school-based BCBAs found her content and began asking for more. That response led her to build The Behavior Lounge, where she now mentors BCBAs through their first independent school roles and shares resources drawn directly from her own classroom experience.
