Foundations Equine Ultrasound is a virtual training community founded by Dr. Suzan Oakley, a board-certified specialist in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation and one of the few veterinarians certified by the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). She has lectured internationally on equine musculoskeletal ultrasound and instructs at ultrasound courses worldwide.
The community centers on her Foundations in Equine Ultrasound wet lab course, covering ultrasound of the forelimb, hind limb, and axial skeleton, giving equine veterinarians and practitioners hands-on training and ongoing support as they build advanced ultrasound skills.
