Dr. Suzan Oakley is a board-certified specialist in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation, with extensive training in ultrasound for diagnosing and treating sport horse injuries. She is one of the few veterinarians certified by the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP) and a past president of the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners.

She has lectured nationally and internationally on equine musculoskeletal anatomy and ultrasound, and serves as a courtesy adjunct professor in the Practice Based Equine Clerkship at the University of Florida. She created Foundations Equine Ultrasound to share her advanced ultrasound expertise with veterinarians and practitioners worldwide.
