The Authentic Asian is a private, application-only membership community for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women executives, founders, and leaders. Founded by Misa Chien, the community is built on three pillars: Community, through virtual circles, fireside chats, workshops, and support huddles; Conversation, through intimate in-person supper clubs across the US, Canada, and the UK; and Connection and Growth, through deeper networking built on collaboration rather than competition. With more than 200 vetted members, TAA gives ambitious and kind AAPI women a space to build relationships, share business playbooks, and find peer mentorship with people who understand their experience as leaders.

How to join: Membership is by application. Clicking "Buy" takes you to our application, where our team reviews each applicant and reaches out personally before anyone joins.

Pricing: $1,950/year applies to our core US cities. Lower membership tiers are available. Membership in Toronto, Vancouver, and London is priced in local currency; details are shared during the application process.
